#20: Acute Cough

Indications: Acute bronchitis

Ingredients:
Ammonium bromatum D3 has an affinity to breathing and the circulatory system; it calms the central nervous system;

Ipecacuanha D3 is useful for cramp-coughs, which may lead to vomiting;

Rumex crispus D3 has an affinity to irritable conditions;

Drosera D4 is used to counter spastic dry coughs, such as a whooping cough

Phosphorus D5 influences inflammations of the mucous membranes due to its affinity to the calcium metabolism, particularly when expectorating blood and potential pneumonia;

Belladonna D6 is often useful for acute, feverish illnesses and inflammations, in particular when accompanied by pus.

Dosage:
3 times daily: - Cats and small dogs: 1/2 dropper (0.5mL) - Large dogs: 1 dropper (1mL) - Horses: 2 droppers (2mL)
