About Doskar Homeopathics

Martin Doskar, R.Ph. owns and operates a chain of apothecaries with emphasis on natural and organic products and a pharmaceutical company for the production of supplements and for the distribution of Chinese, Tibetan herbs and Ayurvedic products. His wife and his three daughters are pharmacists as well and are part of the family enterprise.

More than 20 years ago, Martin Doskar had problems with his eyes and noticed big black holes in his field of vision. When traditional medicines could not alleviate the problem, he received help from a known homeopath by the name Siegfried Wagner, MD, who had been operating a homeopathic practice since 1968. After taking Dr. Wagner's homeopathic remedies, Martin Doskar's vision problems disappeared. As a result from this eye-opening experience, he started developing his own homeopathic products in close cooperation with Dr. Wagner and based on his homeopathic expertise.

Siegfried Wagner studied medicine in Graz (Austria) and Hamburg (Germany) and spent considerable time in different countries. His teacher of homeopathy was Prof. Mathias Dorcsi. Dr. Wagner has used homeopathy since 1968 in his homeopathic practice. Together with his wife Jutta he owns an organic farm where they keep 300 goats, 5 horses, 3 Mangalitza pigs and 3 dogs. They make their own goat cheese. Dr. Wagner teaches homeopathic courses and lectures throughout Europe. He uses exclusively homeopathic remedies to treat his animals, including de-worming. His latest book is a comprehensive and detailed A-Z guide of homeopathic treatments for a multitude of conditions. (Die Homoeopathie-Fibel, Kneipp Verlag, Leoben, 2002)

Today the Doskar apothecaries offer approximately 600 single homeopathic remedies.

In order to facilitate the usage of homeopathic products, 40 remedies were developed for the most easily recognizable conditions.

25 homeopathic pet remedies have been used by the Doskar family (13 dogs, 4 cats and 20 horses) for a number of years.

In addition to the homeopathic animal products, over 80 SKUs are available for generic horse products in addition to a separate line for generic dog products.
